Through most of 2012, I was racing with a stress fracture in my heel. So by October 2012, I couldn't even walk, hence the 2013 and 2014 seasons were dedicated to recovery and healing up. As of April of 2014 I was injury free, but rebuilding & rehabilitating my running stride. By the end of 2014 all is 100%, and I’m working on gaining my World-class running speed back. A good side effect of not being able to run for little over a year (besides racing) is that I was able to focus on my swimming and cycling (which have become one of the best among professional athletes).
